The tank farm lies on the south bank of Yangtze River. And the port is never silted up or frozen over in the whole year, adequate for round-year operating. During the dry season, the average water depth of the dock could reach 13 meters. The wharf of berth one is 180 meters long, with the widest berth of 28 meters wide,suitable for the mooring of the-thousand-tonnage vessels; the wharf of berth two is 280 meters long with the widest berth of 30 meters wide, suitable for the docking of 50 thousand-tonnage vessels. The annually handing capacity of the two berths is designed to be 1.5 million tons.
